Down to the Sea

...I must go down to the sea again, for the call of the running tide

Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;

And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,

And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying....

etc - John Masefield

I saw this child on the beach and suddenly remembered this poem from grade school that I loved, and I just had to paint her...(I googled & found the rest of the verse)20x28 on fabriano paper, mostly winsor newton paints.I would appreciate suggestions or tutorials for flesh tones in deep shadow, they give me a very hard time.
